One Touch Ireland Harnesses Broadband for Instantaneous Access & Updates

One Touch Ireland’s nationwide network of Info Point Touch Screens can now be updated on a daily basis thanks to the increased utilisation of broadband technology directly by the system.

Already, OTI Support have utilised broadband into over 40% of host Info Point locations with a roll-out plan that will reach 80% coverage by Autumn 2006.

The benefits accrued include the ability to update the entire network on a daily basis with new customer promotions, and updates for existing customers. In addition, availability of systems are now much easier to ascertain so as to ensure maximum uptime is achieved. And, if a system does experience any technical difficulties , OTI Support will know immediately and deploy remote diagnostic tools to fix and repair the problem before the host location knows one exists!
